Breanne and David, local Temecula Wine Country residents wanted to have a Wiens Winery Wedding and, so they did! The Barrel Room at Wiens Family Cellars is one of my favorite little hidden gems in Wine Country with plenty of room for large or small affairs. Indoors or out, couples are treated to a wonderful event and plenty of room at the reception and banquet center. This was also an early evening ceremony and reception with the ceremony starting at 6pm and then into the evening for the reception. If you ask me, this makes for a wonderful ending to a weekend for everyone involved. It just seems low key and everyone was just rather calm and unhurried, I liked it! The ceremony itself was fun, fun, fun and emotional all at the same time. Tears and laughter, I love it then this happens. It makes me know I am alive and what I do matters in life. I am indeed blessed. The reception room was set up very nice and, the family brought in their own Smores Table.. Ya gotta love it. Hats off to Wiens Wedding Manager of the night Britney and her staff for bringing it all together flawlessly.

A Falkner Winery Wedding with Misty and Anthony

Misty and Anthony chose a Falkner Winery Wedding and to make it an intimate celebration in the Barrel Room. What a great choice. As the sun set over the vineyards, family and friends gathered below the Pinnacle Restaurant to share in their moment. Simple yet elegant. This wonderful and magical moment came together beautifully and included a very fun wine ceremony. I think what I enjoy the most from the celebrations I am honored to share are; bringing out the fun side of my couples. I do my best to lighten the mood so they become more relaxed and comfortable. They in turn make the family and friends more comfortable. The roller coaster of emotions blend easy and everyone shares in the tender as well as the humorous side. I am indeed blessed to share in these moments. Special hello to Loretta Falkner who I was able to share a few moments with (She is indeed a busy woman and I always enjoy the chance to share a few moments). I can’t fail to mention how nice it was to work with Krissy, the Falkner Winery Wedding Manager. She is awesome to work with and my couples always enjoy and admire her attention to details.

Heather and Joseph Elope to Sunset Cliffs

Joseph and Heather made their plans to Elope to Sunset Cliffs. They invited a few friends and her parents and, with a few surprises, like her sister surprising her with a visit to witness, it all came together. Although the weather forecast called for cool temps and light rain, the clouds moved out of the way long enough for puffy white clouds and sunshine. Standing on the edge of Sunset Cliffs at Lunscomb Park, the ceremony began and the moment was picture perfect. I do love this location anytime during the day.

Stacy and Chad exchange their vows with a destination Hotel Del Coronado Wedding

Stacy and Chad wanted to share their moment with family and friends with a Hotel Del Coronado Wedding. They also wanted to have this moment come close to sunset and have their cocktail hour come together as the sun was setting. The did just that and, they also did everything from Indiana. I love destination weddings when couples find their professionals and then, leave it up to them to bring it all together. Indeed, a wonderful moment for all and, very romantic. Harpist Lea Bennett was a delight and I always love working with her. She entertained their guests prior to the ceremony, then the ceremony and they also wanted the classic Ava Maria played during the ceremony. Having the ceremony at the Vista Walk is also special and completes the Hotel Del Coronado Wedding ideas. From the very beginning hen Chad and I entered, to the end of the ceremony where bubbles greeted their recessional, it all came together beautifully and I was honored to have shared in the magic of their day.

Shayna and Stephen Elope to La Jolla at sunset!

Shayna and Stephen wanted nothing more than to Elope to La Jolla at Sunset and, that’s what they got! A most beautiful sunset indeed and an emotional moment. Both from Tyler, TX, they brought local family to their seaside celebration to help share in their magic. I was indeed honored to have been asked to share in the day. It was a roller coaster day for my couple. A car accident earlier in the day with family made things a little stressful and forgetting the paperwork and running just a few minutes late did not help. I did my nest to assure my couple that everything will come together just fine and, it did. The moment happened as the sun was setting which made for a beautiful celebration. I love it when it all comes together.

Free Military Wedding with Robert and Stephanie

My Military Mondays fun continued serving those that serve us with a free military wedding Yep, back out to the beach with Robert and Stephanie along with the family and friends. We made the magic happen with plenty of clear skies and warm temps, even for January! Ya gotta love winter in San Diego. Patrick and Nicole are from Texas, she still lives there at attends University of Texas and he is stationed at Camp Pendleton. Scott and Toni celebrate with a Coronado Community Center Wedding

Being part of a Coronado Community Center is one of my favorites as you just can’t beat the San Diego Bay side view of the Coronado Yacht Club. Scott and Toni, planned their destination wedding from Chicago and brought out tons of family and friends and their ceremony is just so touching and emotional. It was a real honor to share in the magic of their day. Just across the street from Coronado Beach and the Hotel Del Coronado, the ceremony location is nestled along the San Diego Bay. The cocktail hour was set on the patio, with the same wonderful view and the reception was inside all nice, warm and cozy in the Nautilus Banquet Room . Working with some a San Diego’s wedding pros made it much easier for me and they just made the transition from one of the events to the other simply, well, seamless. I can’t wait for the next celebration and hope more couples take a look at this wonderful venue.

Jane and Ryan celebrate at The New Children's Museum

This was an exciting time for me today. Not only the first elopement for the year started the day but, I performed a wedding at a new venue, The New Children’s Museum in San Diego. You would think after some 3,000 wedding celebrations, I would have been everywhere at least once but, the was a first at this location and I can only hope this is far from being my last. This was an amazing location for a wedding and, as an amateur photographer, I can only imagine the fun professional wedding photographers have here. Jane and Ryan added to the excitement as they are just one of those super happy couples and wanted their night to reflect their fun personalities. They brought in some awesome vendors too. I had the honor to meet with the facility Manager of Events Service, Tammy Gamboa, and made sure to tell her how much I loved this venue. Special Thanks to DJ Vynce from Music Phreek, I needed to test my new Sennheiser G# wireless and even having to set up two sound systems for the ceremony and reception, he made sure to take just a few moments to help me out… Indeed, a wonderful celebration for Jane and Ryan and I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness.

Susanne and Keith Elope to Coronado! Ooohrah!

What a great way to start the first Official Elopement of 2012. First, the rain that was falling, stopped for the elopement and second, it was Keith, an Officer in the United Stated Marine Corps and his beautiful bride Susanne. From the moment we met in the Lobby of the Hotel Del Coronado you knew it was going to be a fun time. As we made our way out to the beach, we stopped briefly for a photo in front of the hotel and hotel sign. A tour group happened to be watching. One of the tourists (one of about 25) asked if he could have a photo with them, they smiles and said yes and before you could blink, everyone single one of them started to run over… They were so wonderful but had to say, thank you but, we need to go get married. It was indeed a very special and fun moment. We made it out to the beach, the sun peeked through and the moment happened before his son and two friends. A wonderful moment and I was honored to have shared in their day!
